Heading Alarm app for iPhone and iPad

Heading Alarm is a functional compass display that will alert you when you deviate from your desired heading.  


The Heading Alarm App is easy to use. You can manually input desired heading and deviation, or you can use the touchscreen option: one finger to set heading and two fingers to widen or narrow deviation. 

If your heading veers out of acceptable range into red territory you will be alerted!

Once you set the alarm by pushing the large green button, you will be alerted with sound and vibration if you deviate from your desired heading. Be sure your device is not on silent mode if you wish to hear the alarm. If your heading returns to within the acceptable deviation the alarm will cease. Allow notifications to allow the alarm to function even when your devices screen is off or locked.


UPGRADE to PRO Settings to enable a remote alarm notification and an alarm delay.

-Remote Alarm- enter a valid email address and receive an email from our server if heading deviates outside of acceptable range. If you have another device to check email you can remotely monitor if the alarm has sounded. Requires internet access to contact server and send email!

-Alarm Delay- instead of the alarm activating based on your immediate heading, it is instead based on the average heading during a specified period. This prevents short term deviation from activating the alarm.
